The Faces Behind Just Audit Limited


The team at Just Audit Limited are all experienced professionals, coming from a variety of backgrounds. This experience enables us to offer excellent advice and service to our clients.

Rachel Davis (FCA) – Director

The practice was set up by and is run by Rachel Davis. Rachel has been in practice since 1990, training and qualifying in 1994 with Duncan and Toplis in Grantham, before moving to KPMG in Derby and becoming audit manager. Finally, before setting up her own practice, Just Audit Limited, four years ago, she worked at Willis Cooper in Belper. With this experience of different sizes of accountancy practice – from the “Top 4”, to “Top 50” and a small independent practice, as well as the four years heading her own practice Rachel has experience of many different sizes and types of clients, which enables Just Audit Limited to offer a broad range of audit and assurance services.

Joanne Gregory– Audit Manager

Joanne started with Just Audit Limited early in 2009 and has been in practice since 1998. She started her training at Sibbald & Co before moving onto Lings and most recently Tenon as audit senior. Like Rachel, Joanne has experienced all sizes of accountancy practice and therefore many different sizes and types of client, which is invaluable for the wide range of clients we have at Just Audit Limited.

Nicola Underwood - Audit Manager

Nicola joined the Just audit team in Autumn 2010. Nicola started in practice in 1990 at Kidsons Impey, qualifying there in 1994. She then moved to a local firm in Leicester where she became audit manager. Again with Nicola’s experience she benefits from having worked for small and larger sized practices, seeing many different sizes and types of client. Throughout her career Nicola has been involved with Solicitors Accounts Rules Assignments.

David Fletcher – Audit Senior

David is London-based, and started with Just Audit Limited in June 2010, having worked in general practice with Gilberts Chartered Accountants since 2006. David qualified as an ACA in 2009, and received an award from Beds, Bucks, and Herts Society of Chartered Accountants for high achievement across his professional stage exams. David has worked with a broad range of small and medium sized businesses, charities, and larger companies, and benefits from having experience in a number of areas in audit and accountancy from his general practice background.

Rachel Snow – Audit Senior

Rachel has assisted Just Audit Limited since Autumn 2007. Rachel started in practice in 1990 and worked for 15 years with three different firms of accountants in and around her home county of Norfolk. In addition to this experience in practice, Rachel has also worked as an accountant in industry and for a charity.

Julie Thickpenny – Audit Senior

Julie joined Just Audit in the Autumn of 2009. Julie has many years of experience, starting work at Cooper Parry in 1979 and working there for 10 years before having a career break. After this Julie returned to work for a small firm of accountants locally, being responsible for carrying out the audit and solicitors accounts rules work, as well as working as a general accountant.

Tania Holyoak – Secretary

With the expansion of the practice we considered ourselves lucky to find someone like Tania to take care of many aspects of the office administration for the team. Tania has worked in the accountancy profession since 1986, both working for small practices and spending many years as Partners’ PA at KPMG. She is therefore an excellent asset to the firm.
